Time for a Christmas Tree

It's hard to believe that we are already celebrating Chase's 2nd Christmas! The tree is decorated and Chase LOVES to take the ornaments off, hand them to you while saying thank you, then take them back and attempt to put them back on the tree. Thanks to a great idea from Nana, our instruments are indestructible this year, and we'll pull out the "real" ornaments next year! Chase was NOT a fan of Santa this year, but we at least got a picture of him on his sleigh while Santa took a break! ;) Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a beautiful 2011!!!! November....

A few highlights from November included a Mommy & Chase road trip to Yuba City for Hailey's 1st Birthday and a stop in Elk Grove on the way home to visit the Haucks! We also spent Thanksgiving with the Agees in Paso and then visited with all the cousins at Gramma & Grampa's in King City! The month flew by and Chase is talking and walking more and more each day. Some of his favorite words are: woof woof, more, done, thank you, dada, and mom!

Wow....where has time gone...it's December and I'm just blogging about October (when I really should be working...shhh)! Well October was exciting month for us, lots of pumpkins, visits with family, and Chase started WALKING! So now I very literally spend my days "chasing Chase!" Loving every minute though...enjoy some highlights.

Chase's 1st birthday was celebrated in King City at Gramma, Grampa, and Great Grammy's house! It was a hot sunny day with lots of family and friends to celebrate with! Our theme was John Deere (as you can see from the pictures) and Chase got lots of neat John Deere gifts! He was blessed with many wonderful goodies and we are so thankful for everyone who thought of him on his special day!

At his 1 year appointment, Chase got a wonderful report from his doctor! He weighed 23lbs 6oz and was 30" long. He is walking along furniture, pushing his toys all over the house, and standing by himself for a few seconds here and there! He is saying "mom mom" and "da da" more consistently and tries to imitate us when we say "uh oh" "ha ha" and "thank you"! He does a pretty good doggie sound of "woof woof" and LOVES to see and watch any type of dog! It is hard to believe that 1 year has passed by and I know the next one will go by in the blink of an eye!

September also brought about lots of fun time with friends! We love spending time with all of our dear friends and on occasion I remember to bring the camera along! We spend lots of afternoons with Dyan and Isabella going on walks, playing, visiting Starbucks, and just hanging out!

This month also brought a playdate with Auntie Darc and Liam, Auntie Tiff and the girls, and Beckah and Paizlee. It was a bit windy in Soledad, but the kiddos were having too much fun to notice!

We also helped Ty celebrate his 1st birthday at the Monterey Bay Aquarium! Ty and Chase had a great time in the splash zone baby area; which meant great photo ops!!!

September started off with Gramma, Grampa, Uncle Nate, Brian, Chase, and I packing our bags and heading to Oklahoma for Hailey and Clark's wedding at Great Aunt Kathie and Uncle Kim's ranch over Labor Day weekend! We had a GREAT trip, the wedding was remarkable, visiting with family was superb, and Chase was an awesome traveler! He experienced his first plane ride, his first airport exploration, his first extended stay in a hotel, and his first time as a RING BEARER! The cutest one I've ever seen if my opinion counts! ;)

On top of the wedding, we also visited with family and friends we hadn't seen in awhile, visited a small rescue zoo, and hung out at Aunt Kathie and Uncle Kim's house! We had a great time but were also ready to be home in our own surroundings!
