We had a very special 4th of July this year as Chase got to spend the weekend up at Pine Mountain Lake with Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Papa, Gramma, and Grampa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can imagine he had all the attention one could want and did quite well being the star of the show! He LOVED the fireworks, had a blast splashing in the lake, and enjoyed his new toys that his grandparents got him! Thanks Nana & Papa for a great weekend at the cabin! xo, A, B, & C

Well, Daddy decided (and Mommy sadly went along with it) that it was time to cut Chase's precious curls and give him a bit of a big boy haircut! I looked quite pathetic hovering over the ground picking up every little curl, but they are all in an envelope that will be safely placed in his baby book forever! Looking back, his hair was getting quite long, but oh I miss those curls! He wasn't a huge fan, but Mr. John did a great job and our handsome big boy is still as cute as ever! We love you Chase!

We had lots of fun this month with family and friends! Chase continues to talk all the time and is definitely finding his independence in many different ways!!! :/ Love him more than anything, but if I only could bottle up his energy and keep it for a tired day!!!!

Wow...it has been awhile since I have been here so I'll just do some monthly highlights:

APRIL:

1. WE GOT TO SEE THE KAISERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chase LOVED hanging out with Hannah and Harper and of course Gramma Cheryl and I did too! Love those girls to pieces!

2. Celebrated Liam's 4th Birthday at the park!

3. Went on a crazy vacation to San Diego with great friends which included a trip to the zoo and ended with a few days at the lakehouse!

4. Easter egg hunt!!!!! Easter in Paso and more egg hunting there too!

5. Playdate with our baby group - 19th months old already!

Throughout this month, Chase has REALLY started talking and some days seems to pick up 5 - 10 new words! He loves to look through his books and name everything he sees. Some of his favorites are: airplane, tractor, truck, firetruck (which he says Marc or Nate for since his uncles are both fire fighters), all animal sounds, and balls!

We have been enjoying the wonderful sunshine after over a week of wet, rainy, icky weather!!!! We hosted our 18 month baby playdate at our new home and everyone loved the new place. We also enjoyed a great afternoon at the aquarium with wonderful friends. Time is flying by and I know Chase man will be 2 before I know it! Ah! xoxo, A, B, & C

Well after almost 6 wonderful years in our condo including getting married, having Chase, and watching him blossom during his first 17 months of life, we have moved from the condo and are now living a few minutes outside in Salinas in a wonderful 3 bdrm/2 ba two-story townhouse. Chase has more room to play and an awesome large back patio that he enjoys almost every day (as long as the sun is shining)!!!! Although we were sad to say goodbye to our little condo that brought us so much joy and love, we are excited about the next chapter in our lives together and can't wait to see what this chapter holds!!!
