Chase enjoyed two weeks of Christmas celebrations! He was blessed with many toys, books, clothes, and wonderful ornaments! Although he didn't really know what was going on, he was a trooper! A few of our highlights included:

*Two visits from Santa and a trip to see Santa at the mall!

*Meeting lots of new family members: Auntie Nicole, Uncle Steve, Uncle Jim, Uncle Don, Aunt Mary, Aunt Karen, Uncle Dick, and The Rodman Family

*Christmas Eve in Paso at Great Grandma Pauline's

*Christmas Day in King City at Gramma Cheryl & Grampa Burt's

*A new mobile from Santa Claus

Through all of this Chase has been battling an icky cold! Mommy and Daddy are trying to be tough, but it breaks our hearts to see our little man not feel well. We are hoping he gets better soon and are trying all the tricks of the trade to get rid of his congestion!

It's been awhile...

Oops! It's been several weeks since I last posted! Chase had an impromptu visit to the doctor this morning for some lingering congestion - but it appears to be just a little cold. He weighs a whoping 15lbs 10oz and is doing just fine!!!

He is really starting to get his own little personality. He LOVES to talk, makes a lots of new noises, blows bubbles, kicks like a frog in the tub, and talks to his bears on his mobile all the time. Chase is starting to lengthen out his sleep at night and is up once around 2 or 3 and then again at 6 or 7 - we are making progress! He is getting close to holding his head up on his own...not much longer!

In the last couple of weeks, Chase went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with Cousin Hannah, had a visit from Santa at Nana and Papa's, met Uncle Steve & Auntie Nicole, and visited Santa at the mall! We are taking lots of pictures and I will post more soon (when I get an extended period of "free" time)!

We are looking forward to Chase's 1st Christmas and can't wait to share of his adventures!

2 month check up!

Well, Chase survived his 2 month check up and first round of immunizations! Mommy and Daddy survived too! I had held Chase's arms and sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider" to him while he got his 3 shots in his little thighs! He screeched after each one and fussed a bit after the last one but then fell asleep in my arms before we got to the car. We did lots of cuddling after his appointment, but he didn't have any reactions to the shots! Yippee!!!

Chase man weighed 14 lbs 4 oz and was 24" long! He is definitely a happy and healthy boy and is tipping the charts in the 97th percentile. We are so blessed to have such a handsome little guy to fill our lives with love.

He is smiling and "talking" up a storm and makes new little noises all the time. Hoping to post a video of one of his conversations with Daddy soon! ;)

Our First Thanksgiving as a Family of Three

Chase had a wonderful first Thanksgiving at Gramma and Grampa's house in King City! His favorite cousin Hannah was in attendance, along with Uncle Marc & Auntie Tiff, Uncle Nate, Uncle Tim, Great Grandma Bernie, and the Meeks cousins! Chase wore his "1st Thanksgiving" outfit from Nana and Papa, except for a short period of time where Daddy snuck him into his Raider's outfit during the game! We all had a wonderful time visiting with family and eating a yummy and delicious turkey dinner! Chase can't wait until next year when he will get to join us for the eating part of the day!!! Hope you were all blessed with a lovely Thanksgiving as well!

8 week pics!

Chase is growing up so quickly we can hardly believe it! He loves hanging out on his changing pad and looking around his room! He is almost too long for his changing table...yikes!

This is the best part of being a Mom - I get to stare at this precious smile all day long!

Chase is 8 weeks today and I can't even believe it! It seems like yesterday that I was wondering when he was going to join us and now the condo has erupted in all things baby! Thanks for staying updated on our little guy! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7 weeks and growing...

Just a quick update on our adorable Chase man! Chase is doing wonderful and just keeps growing every day. He has definitely found his hands and likes to bat at his toys and at us, even though I don't think he knows he's doing so! He loves to lay on the boppy under his play gym and smile at himself in the little mirror. Chase also likes to be a lizard and slowly stick his tongue in and out! :)

Mommy survived her first day away from Chase for work! He did wonderful with Gramma Cheryl and welcomed me home with projectile spit-up...lovely!

Well it is hard to believe that our little man will be 2 years old on Thanksgiving...where does time go?! I hope to post more pictures soon!

My smiley boy!!!!!!

6 weeks

Well, Chase is now 6 weeks old and still growing! At his appointment with his new pediatrician last week (long story), he weighed 11 lbs 5 oz and was 23 3/4" long! He is in the 90th percentile for weight and the 97th percentile for height...yep, he's definitely going to be taller than Mommy and maybe Daddy too!

Chase is smiling like crazy now, and not just from gas! He likes to hear our voices and see our faces up close. He loves to be held and his favorite place to sleep during the day is right in Mommy's arms...I'm enjoying it because I know it won't always be the case!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from Chase and his Mommy & Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chase had a great 1st Halloween!!! We started off by stopping by Nana & Papa's to show off Chase's football costume and then headed down to King City for the night. We spent the afternoon and evening at Auntie Darc and Uncle Josh's house for an AWESOME Halloween Housewarming party! Chase's best buddy Liam was a pumpkin and we had lots of fun. Chase went trick or treating for the first time with Liam, but we didn't really ask for candy. We got to spend time with Gramma & Grampa, and Auntie Tiff & Cousin Hannah too. Hannah & Chase had their first photo shoot together - so stinkin' cute! Overall it was a fun-filled busy day! Thanks to everyone who made it so special! xoxo

One Month Update

Well we did it! Chase turned one month old on Monday and is now over 10lbs!!! He is doing well, growing fast, and capturing our hearts every day. Chase met lots of family this past week including his Great Grandma Pauline, Great Aunt Kathie & Uncle Kim, Auntie Leah, and more! He also went on his first road trip with Gramma Cheryl & Mom which ended in an overnight stay at Harris Ranch due to a road closure at 7pm that made it impossible for us to get home (needless to say Mommy meltdown but we survived)! We survived Daddy being gone 6 days to Kentucky and are very glad to have him back home with us again! We can't wait to see what month #2 has in store...we will post Halloween pictures next week!

Pumpkin Patch Trip

Well, Chase went on his first pumpkin patch adventure on Saturday with Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Darcy, Uncle Josh, and Liam! We had a great afternoon at Borchard Farms outside of Salinas and came home with a pumpkin for everyone! Chase slept through most of the trip, but we captured photos anyways and he also got to eat to the sounds of a live band! He is growing so quickly and changing every day. He has himself on his own little schedule and likes to eat about every 3 hours. Mommy and Daddy are trying to catch sleep when they can - but Mommy isn't very good at napping during the day! Quick Update

Well, we found ourselves at the Doctor's office on Friday and we are happy to report that Chase is now weighing 9lbs 4oz and is now 22" long! We have a growing boy on our hands. Needless to say the newborn clothes are on their way out (especially those with enclosed feet) and we have moved up to Size 1 in the diaper department! We can't believe how fast he is growing and how much he changes every day.

We are off to the pumpkin patch today with Auntie Darcy, Uncle Josh, and Chase's best buddy, Liam. I will post pics soon!

2 weeks and growing...

Well, Chase was 2 weeks old on Saturday and he is doing great! He seems to be sleeping in 2 hour blocks during the day and varies between 2 - 3 hour blocks at night. Everyone keeps saying those middle of the night feedings get easier...we shall see! :) Chase had an impromptu doctor's visit today (thanks to new Mommy and Daddy worries) and the doctor said he looked great. He had seemed a big congested to us and overly gasey, but all appeared fine. He weighed 8 lb 14 oz - so he is clearly getting enough food from Mommy!!!! We are loving him so much and thank God every day for our beautiful miracle.

10 Day Checkup

Well, Chase man had another appointment today to check in on his weight and he is doing AWESOME. He is up to 8lbs 6oz (which is a pound up from what he was last Weds., and 3 oz up from birth). Our doctor was VERY pleased and said to keep doing what we're doing! Chase sure does love to eat so he's a happy boy! He is changing already and is really starting to have longer alert and awake periods of time. We love him so much and can't wait for him to meet all of his family and friends.

Time?!?!

It's amazing how quickly a day goes by when filled with a nursing baby, a tired mom and dad, and who knows what else?! Chase is doing well and we are enjoying every little smirk, smile, and expression he makes. He has brought so much joy in to our lives (even in the wee hours of night when all we want to do is sleep)! Hope you enjoy a few pics of his first week with us! xo

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!

We are proud to announce the arrival of our amazingly perfect son, Chase Robert Agee. He was born on Saturday, September 26th at 2:22pm! Chase weighed 8lbs 3oz and was 20" long! We were very excited to meet our little guy after 26 hours of labor and over an hour of pushing - glad that stage is complete!

Brian, Chase, and I are all home now and adjusting to our new lives together. Lots of emotional ups and downs, but we couldn't be happier. Keep checking back for more updates.

39 Weeks...one week to go!

Well, we have less than a week until our actual due date. Our 39 week doctor's appointment was today and all went well! Doctor said that she doesn't think we are having a "small baby" - so we will see what that means! We are ready for Baby Bean to join our family, but he or she is awfully comfy and content these days. If there is no baby by Tuesday, Sept. 29th (our due date), then our doctor will schedule an induction for the following week! We are hoping that Baby Bean decides to come on his or her own...and soon! Thanks for all the thoughts and kind words - we will keep you all posted!

38 Weeks!

Well, we officially have 13 days until our due date...is he/she here yet???!!! Although there have been a couple of moments where I have thought "Is this it?", Baby Bean is still nice and content inside his/her Mommy! Brian and I are more curious than ever and can't wait to meet our little bundle of joy. Brian's softball games are Tues/Thurs nights and our Dr. is out of town this weekend - so maybe it will be one of those time periods?! We'll keep ya posted!

Oh yeah, some of you were having trouble leaving comments, but I think I fixed that problem - try again - we'd love to hear from you!

Almost 38 weeks

Well, I will be 38 weeks as of Tuesday, Sept. 15th! As our due date quickly approaches I am getting more anxious to find out whether we are going to welcome a little boy or girl into our family! Brian is convinced it's a boy and wants to arrive NOW, and I have the boy feeling as well, but just want a happy and healthy baby! The nursery is ready, the car seat is installed, and the house is clean...so now it's time to wait! xo
